Every dermatologist will tell you that it’s never too late to start taking care of your skin, but is better  for you to start since now, and the result in the future will be visible.

So let’s see what your skine care routine should contain before the age of 40.

Vitamin C

Dermatologists agree that antioxidant vitamin C is one of the most important ingredients in your treatment as it prevents the appearance of panicles and enhances collagen production.  Vitamin C stimulates fibroblasts to continue producing the proteins of youth.

Apply Vitamin C in the morning before applying your sunscreen for extra protection.


As it grows, the skin tends to become thicker and dull, while pores appear more intense. This is because dead skin cells are removed more slowly as you grow older. This active ingredient in Vitamin A can literally transform your skin for the better, as long as you know how to use it. Retinol should be applied at night after cleansing as it is a photosensitive component that is neutralized by the sun and air, and in some cases causes skin irritation. So initially it is advisable to apply a generous amount of cosmetic with retinol on your hand and leave it on for at least 24-48 hours. If there is no reaction, you can apply it once or twice a week and then every night.

Face wash

As with tooth brushing, as with face washing, once a day is not enough. Because your morning care is about protecting your skin and your night care is about repairing it, it is important to establish a face wash routine both in the morning and in the evening.
