Chestnut is one of the best fruits of the fall season, loved by young and old, for its characteristic taste and aroma.

But also is known for its benefits, cause they are rich in vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium and many other minerals.

The perfect chestnut dessert with milk by agroweb:

Ingredients for 4-5 persons:

1.5 kg chestnuts, 1 tablespoon flour, 2 cups tea milk, 1 tablespoon butter, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

  • Chestnuts should be washed and put in a pot to simmer over medium heat.
  • They should not be completely cooked and get off from the fire when they are half cooked.
  • Then peel and add in a pot with the milk.
  • In another container mix the flour with a little milk and toss to the chestnuts, add salt and sugar.
  • Once these have blended well, let them boil until the mass thickens.
  • Remove the pot from the fire and add the fresh butter.
